For 2004, we are introducing four new models - the Super 9 and Super 13; Super 8 and Super 12 Anti/Reverse.

Bonefish one day, tarpon the next? No problem - it's called InterchangeABELity! Each kit includes a Large Arbor Super Series reel, plus a Big Game spool of corresponding size. This doubles the capabilities of your reel - and costs less than it would to buy the reel and spool separately.

Nothing else can compare. No other reels have the ability to interchange spools and frames.
All Super Series reels are ported (ventilated) using a "rounded oblong" design that maintains total strength and rigidity of the metal. They're light, yet retain all of Abel's traditional strength and integrity. InterchangeABELity sets may be purchased at significant savings compared to the same reel and spool purchased separately.

*Note: Super Series reels are interchangeable with Big Game spools or frame of the same diameter and spool width. Standard models that interchange with Super Series models are indicated with an *asterisk
